摘要: This report describes laboratory studies conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of 10 additives inhibit self-heating coal. Aqueous additive solutions were applied a bituminous coal with high spontaneous combustion potential, and minimum, temperatures (SHT's) dired coal-additive mixtures determined in Bureau's adiabatic heating oven. The relative was by observed changes minimum SHT's or time required for sample temperature reach 150{degrees}C, compared untreated coal-water blank. Sodium nitrate, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate found be most effective inhibitors, followed ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, chloride acetate, potassium chloride. Two additives, formate promoted process. Differential scanning calorimetry experiments on show that reactions occured between some but these did not infuluence
