摘要: Objective The purpose of this study was to examine the extent which blood glucose, obesity, and maternal weight gain explains differences in birth using offspring sibling pairs gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Study design A retrospective analysis 90 women with at least 2 GDM pregnancies conducted. fixed effects model used between siblings same mother (within-women), results were contrasted a multivariable regression that compared different mothers (between-women). Results Higher significantly associated increased within mothers, but not women. Conversely, overweight status (body mass index [BMI] ≥25) significant between-mothers, an individual mother's pregnancies. One-hour postprandial glucose weaker association within-mothers. There no fasting either analysis. Conclusion Controlling pregnancy may reduce GDM, while high elevated prepregnancy BMI represent predisposition both characteristics.
