摘要: Objective : To compare gastric banding (GB) and vertical banded gastroplasty (VBG) with respect to the evo- lution of pyrosis patient satisfaction. Summary Background Data Although weight loss is most immediate end-point in evaluation surgical treat- ment obesity, demonstration changes long-term satisfaction co-morbidity, like reflux, an essential outcome measure. Material methods Retrospective study 243 morbidly obese patients. All patients received a questionnaire regarding evolution their after surgery. The was compared between 2 groups who had different oesophagitis stages. Group A I, or no oesophagitis, group B II, III IV. Results In GB 57.8% complaints, 11.1% improvement 22.2% aggravation pyrosis. 50.0% improvement. VBG 51.4% com- plaints, 23.6% 16.7% 66.6% complaints. Statistically there signifi- cant difference VBG. experience good 67.9%, mediocre 25.0% bad 7.1% ; 60.7% pleased loss. 47.4%, 29.5% 23.1% 52.6% satisfied Conclusion have similar effect on From our point view it has been evidenced that pres- ence absence before operation possible predictor afterwards.
