摘要: Salmonellosis on the dairy continues to have a significant effect animal health and productivity in United States. Additionally, Salmonella enterica ssp. causes an estimated 1.2 million cases of human illness annually. Contributing morbidity mortality both domestic species is emergence antimicrobial resistance by increased incidence multidrug-resistant isolates. This study describes serotype distribution patterns for various serotypes isolated from bovine samples submitted Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (WVDL) over past 10 yr. serotyping susceptibility testing data were obtained laboratory information management system at WVDL. Data accessions limited WVDL between January 2006 June 2015 those that had definitive complete results testing. A total 4,976 isolates identified. ser. Dublin was most prevalent identified among WVDL, accounting 1,153 (23% isolates) period. Along with Dublin, Cerro (795, 16%), Newport (720, 14%), Montevideo (421, 8%), Kentucky (419, Typhimurium (202, 4%) comprised top 6 commonly during time. Overall, population remained stable, although decreases noted gentamicin, neomycin, trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole All susceptible enrofloxacin. These show has changed served important understanding disease ecology Wisconsin. Our findings are also relevant public improving informed use, new drug development, regulation their use food animals.
