摘要: A number of bibliometric indices have been developed to evaluate an individual's scientific impact, and the most popular are h-index its variants. However, existing computed based on citations received by each article, but they do not consider frequency with which individual mentioned in article. We use “citation mention” denote a unique occurrence cited reference citing thus some may more than one mention According our analysis ACL Anthology Network corpus natural language processing field, 40% references twice or corresponding articles. argue that citation is preferable for representing relationships between articles, is, article m times will be considered citations, rather citation. Based this assumption, we revise propose new index, WL-index, evaluation impact. empirical analysis, proposed WL-index accurately discriminates program committee chairs reputable conferences ordinary authors.
