摘要: Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) composites were developed using fly ash and mica as fillers. PEEK of 5-30 wt% loading compounded twin screw extruder. Tensile strength, tensile modulus flexural increased with the incorporation both fillers in matrix. was found to be higher than composites. Charpy impact strength improved drastically up 15 filler but charpy decreased. The effect on percentage crystallinity studied by modulated differential scanning calorimeter (MDSC). Limiting oxygen index (LOI) also 11% 24% respectively pure at 30 respectively. dynamic shows over 133% increment 100-250 °C, indicating improvement elevated temperature mechanical properties. Effects morphology have been discussed.
