摘要: [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to evaluate the changes in gait patterns and clinical outcomes patients with chronic ankle instability (CAI) following treatment a home-based non-invasive biomechanical device. [Subjects Methods] Thirty-three CAI were compared 43 healthy controls. Patients underwent spatiotemporal assessment before three months treatment. Clinical evaluation recorded SF-36 Health Survey Foot Ankle Outcome Score (FAOS). [Results] Significant baseline differences found between groups. showed statistically significant improvement velocity, cadence, symptomatic limb step length single support over time. improvements PCS FAOS outcome scores CAI.
