摘要: In the present study we evaluated lactose malabsorption (LM) after ingestion of three dairy products in 53 healthy institutionalized elderly people. A preliminary screening with milk (250 ml, 11 g lactose) was carried out to select LM subjects using H2 breath test. The effect consuming an equivalent amount contained yogurt and fermented-then-pasteurized (FPM) then assessed subjects. Results indicated that 36% population studied considered as excretion significantly higher than yogurt. This beneficial partially eliminated when FPM tested. Moreover, (p less 0.05) 3 hours compared normal These results demonstrate a high prevalence confirm positive on absorption, whereas pasteurized did not cause same effect.
