摘要: University lecturers hold the power to act in socially just or unjust ways that define who belongs at university. In this chapter, Bonati creates an awareness of how people with intellectual disability are excluded from universities, and professors can transform their teaching practices welcome all students diverse abilities backgrounds. The chapter examines challenge perceptions ‘ideal’ university student prompts readers reflect on biases practices. It concludes recommendations for removing unnecessary barriers learning environment by incorporating inclusive pedagogy order support be among spectrum learners within community.
