Assessing ecological security at the watershed scale based on RS/GIS: a case study from the Hanjiang River Basin

摘要: The purpose of this study is to develop an assessment framework ecological security at the watershed scale meet need management, and assess using in middle lower reaches Hanjiang River Basin (in Hubei Province, China). states their changes region are investigated with support ERDAS ARC/INFO platform. results show that index (P) values 1995 2000 were 0.685 0.699 respectively region. While 2005 2010, P decreased 0.657 0.624. In 1995, there 5 counties degree II state (the poor state) security, 14 III common state). By 2000, amount 4 counties. And number same as 2005. result 2010 shows 12 countries well 7 state. our case reflect ES situation very grim area. developed can be used a useful tool for managers decision-makers.
