摘要: We use a phenomenological model which connects the galaxy and AGN populations to investigate process of triggering through major mergers at z~0. The uses stellar mass functions as input allows prediction luminosity based on assumed Eddington ratio distribution (ERDFs). show that number hosted by merger galaxies relative total increases function luminosity. This is due more massive being likely undergo does not require assumption lead higher ratios than secular processes. Our qualitative analysis also shows match observations, probability hosting an accreting given value has be increased factor ~10 general population. An additional significant increase fraction high among host leads inconsistency with observed X-ray function. Physically our results imply that, compared population, times higher. On average, however significantly ratios.
