摘要: Self inflicted injury to the eyes including self-enucleation is a rare phenomenon. The authors describe case of bilateral in patient with paranoid schizophrenia. A review literature shows that correlated moral, religious and psychodynamic paradigms various unconscious mechanisms have been proposed explain this unusual behaviour.
