摘要: The aims of this chapter are to review the recent literature on cognition in squirrel monkeys and evaluate findings with reference normal, directed activity natural environments; that is, biological perspective. A perspective involves recognition functions nervous system (including learning, attention, perception, memory, other aspects cognition) have an impact organism’s life history, they must be evaluated terms impact. We assume at outset process provides individual potentially adaptable (and adaptive) ways pick up information about environment, information, compare it against expectations (Neisser, 1976). This guides behavior a fundamental way. As Neisser (1976) puts it, “is surely matter discovering what environment is really like adapting it” (P. 9).
