Effect of Yogurt Consumption on Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors: a Narrative Review

摘要: Metabolic syndrome (MetS) comprises risk factors such as obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension, and hyperglycemia. Here we described the outcome of various yogurt consumption, either conventional, low-fat, high-fat, Greek, or enriched with nutrients probiotics: (1) on parameters MetS (2) mechanisms action factors. The majority (25 studies) clinical trials meta-analyses reported a beneficial effect consumption in prevention risk.
