摘要: Held and Schneider others have postulated two, functionally separate, modes of vision—one concerned with localization, the second identification—and suggested that superior colliculus is crucial for perception location. Colliculectomized hamsters were tested on two localization tasks. No deficit in depth was observed. Perceptual-motor integration necessary to perform a search task severely disrupted, however. These results suggest functions control fine visual-motor coordination.
