摘要: Abstract Daily smoke concentrations measured at four stations in the Athens basin, Greece, for 8-year period 1984–1991 are studied. The analysis showed that decreasing trends observed all these stations, both urban and industrial. Despite trends, concentration levels remain high basin over limit values. Although present a strong seasonal variation, with maximum during cold of year minimum warm period, episodes occur whole year. Meteorological controls (wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, cloudiness mixing height) on were investigated results two (one one year) explicitly analysed. In general, positive correlation is between while negative height.
