摘要: Presence of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) in the heart induces a proinflammatory phenotype. However, presence AGEs within atrial tissue fibrillation (AF) patients is unknown and was analyzed here. Left appendage from 33 AF 9 controls for major N(e)-(carboxymethyl)lysine (CML), VCAM-1, neutrophilic granulocytes, lymphocytes, macrophages both fat myocardium separately. The total amount fibrosis also analyzed. CML significantly higher blood vessels left as compared to controls, independent diabetes mellitus. In patients, VCAM-1 expression numbers infiltrated increased were highest tissue; there no significant difference controls. Interestingly, control correlated positively. Finally, between based on type or surgical indication CML, expression, inflammatory cells, fibrosis. Our results indicate that intramyocardial have an status coinciding with local increase number cells.
