摘要: Abstract Magnetically superhydrophobic oil sorbent was prepared by directly immobilization of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles on the surface kapok fiber and subsequent hydrophobic modification. The results show that as-prepared fibers demonstrated excellent superhydrophobicity magnetic responsivity. They also exhibited high separation efficiency for oil/water mixtures can quickly absorb floating oils water via driving. Compared with raw fiber, sorption capacity n -hexane, toluene, chloroform, paraffin oil, gasoline, diesel increase 70.8%, 58.5%, 96.1%, 23%, 37.3%, 30.5%, respectively. Furthermore, be used to continuously separate a large quantity contaminants from means vacuum pump. Importantly, contact angel still reach above 143° after being repeatedly several times immersed in various harsh environments long time period, implying recyclability chemical durability sorption. findings suggest magnetically has prospect potential applications removal recovery spilled contaminants.
