摘要: The relation between polymer architecture of polyacrylic acid (PAA) derivatives and the rheological properties is examined in aqueous systems with without surfactant. capability PAA its derivates to swell above a critical pH, due ionization acrylic groups, gives completely different at low high both for cross-linked linear polymers. Four nature were studied. Two versions are chemically two linear. In versions, there exist long short hydrophobic while other only groups present. role chemical cross-linking giving physical cross-linking, emphasized. pH-dependent sol-gel transition observed certain concentration, as well magnitude shear viscosity, strongly affected by modification architecture. Chemical has very large effect on induced increasing presence plays more moderate pronounced derivatives. It was also found that onset swelling occurs higher pH polymers groups. capacity when associated anionic surfactant, explored. results show similar behavior solutions increased 6.5 surfactant added concentration.
