摘要: We have characterized the upstream nucleotide sequences involved in mRNA 3'-end formation 3' regions of cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV) 19S/35S transcription unit and a pea gene encoding ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase small subunit (rbcS). Sequences between 57 bases 181 from CaMV polyadenylation site were required for efficient at this site. In addition, an AAUAAA sequence located 13 to 18 was also important formation. An element 60 137 poly(A) addition sites rbcS needed functioning these sites. The -181/-57 -137/-60 elements different location composition mammalian genes, but resembled signals that direct yeast. However, role motif region reminiscent animals. suggest multiple are plants, interactions components plant apparatus with their respective each other
