摘要: The new species Bucklandiella araucana Larrain is described from southern Chile. It characterized by its small size, epilose, almost cucullate leaves, lack of a differentiated basal marginal row pellucid and straight-walled cells, bistratose dorsally flat costa at midleaf, smooth to slightly bulging lamina unistratose leaf with scattered spots distal margins, undivided, prong-like peristome teeth, deeply lobed calyptra. seems be an endemic the volcanic range western slopes Andes (39-42uS), where it grows in Nothofagus forests open lava fields on hillsides many active volcanoes area. Molecular data support distinctiveness this taxon identify as sister B. curiosissima, didyma, emersa. A distribution map illustrations are presented. phylogenetic perspectives our novel molecular results discussed.
