摘要: A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Gold (III) using 3,5-Dimethoxy-4-hydroxy benzaldehyde benzoylhydrazone (DMBBH) in a neutral surfactant Triton X-100(5%) (micellar medium). forms an wine red coloured water soluble complex with reagent acidic medium pH 5.0. The molar absorptivity Sandell's sensitivity species are 2.32 x 10 4 L.mol -1 cm 0.00862 μg/cm 2 respectively. Beer's law is obeyed range 0.4925-5.91 μg/ml Au(III) at λ max 380 nm. derivative was employed gold (III). This satisfactorily applied samples pharmaceutical samples.
