摘要: BACKGROUD Secondary effluent collected from a petrochemical wastewater treatment plant was treated by ozone–biological aerated filter (O3-BAF) to investigate and evaluate the performance, organics genotoxicity removal characteristics of this combined advanced process. RESULTS The average dissolved organic carbon (DOC) secondary approximately 23 mg L−1. When ozone dosage 10 L−1 contact time 4 min, DOC removed O3-BAF 9 during which 37% ozonation 63% BAF. The changed percentage small molecular size ( 100 k) decreasing 26% 8%. More than 85% chemical in unit. BAF less 0.71 µg-4-nitroquinoline-N-oxide L−1. CONCLUSION Ozonation can change size, increase biodegradability obviously reduce effluent. O3–BAF process is suitable for © 2014 Society Chemical Industry
