摘要: A monoclonal antibody (MAb), designated RGM11, was generated against mucin purified from the surface epithelial layer of rat gastric mucosa. RGM11 reacted with which had been attached to ELISA well. This reaction inhibited by oxidation well periodate, indicating carbohydrate moiety molecule be epitope RGM11. Treatment galactose oxidase also reduced this MAb, thus suggesting peripheral and/or N-acetylgalactosamine residues are involved in structure. Histochemical observation indicated that MAb able stain formalin fixed-paraffin embedded sections and positive mucous cells corpus antral region stomach villus epithelium duodenal mucosa, but other organs tissues so far examined were all negative MAb. These results indicate newly established labelled might useful estimate physiological changes role cell derived mucus mucosal defense mechanisms.
