摘要: Magnesium is the fourth most abundant cation in body and plays an important physiological role many of its functions. It a fundamental as cofactor various enzymatic reactions involving energy metabolism. enzymes carbohydrate oxidation glucose transporting mechanism cell membrane. also involved insulin secretion, binding, activity. deficiency hypomagnesemia can result from wide variety causes, including deficient magnesium intake, gastrointestinal, renal losses.
