New records of Heterobasidion parviporum in China

摘要: Twenty-one basidiocarp specimens of Heterobasidion annosum s.l. were collected in six forest areas western and central China, from host trees Picea schrenkiana, Abies fabri, fargesii Larix griffithii. Single-spore cultures isolated the basidiocarps identified by mating tests. All proved to belong species parviporum. The results show that this fungus has a wide distribution China. It seems be less aggressive pathogen China than Europe, although reliable data on occurrence root rot coniferous forests are so far lacking.
