摘要: A process for preparing functionalized alkyllithium compounds comprising reacting a fine particle size lithium metal of not more than 300 microns average with an organosiloxyalkyl halide the formula R1R2R3SiORX wherein R?1, R2 and R3? are independently selected from alkyl groups containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms aryl 6 atoms, R is 8 either straight chain or substituted by groups, X chlorine bromine, reaction temperature above 50 °C, medium hydrocarbon solvent conducted in inert atmosphere.
