摘要: Osteomyelitis may affect any bone, with a predilection for the tubular bones of arms and legs. The skull is recognized as rare anatomic site infection, but potentially dangerous because its intracranial extension. Cranial osteomyelitis more or less regularly seen in countries lesser sanitary capacities. However, migratory flows, ease travelling, number trips have led to possibility discovery development infectious diseases that are usually uncommon developed countries. As it will be this chapter, presumed rarity does not reflect what actually occurring medical literature. Additionally, causes cranial skeleton multifactorial. In general, disease related following three main sources: direct spread from contiguous sites, postoperative secondary trauma, hematogenous bacteremia fungemia. addition these principal key sources, some comorbidities patient-related risk factors should taken into consideration.
