摘要: Since the 1990s, a new generation of models has emerged to simulate tree growth with consideration both structure and functional processes. However, calibration these functional-structural (FSMs) often remains an open problem due topological complexity trees heavy measurements required. In this paper, we explore possible way for dealing fitting problem, based on GreenLab model approach. Detailed organ-level data including geometrical were collected eight Chinese Pine (Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.) saplings grown near Beijing. Adaptation introduce flexible modeling biomass allocation ring is presented. The main assumptions, such as allometry rules sink relationships, investigated. complex branching was solved by defining average tree. results interpreted particular focus ones concerning hidden mechanisms secondary growth.
