摘要: Abstract This paper presents a study of the transition fluidization behaviour from Geldart Group B to A, through imposing magnetic field on fluidized bed 0.141 m internal diameter. Iron particles 330, 800 and 1600 μm in diameter were used as solids. The magnitude interparticle attractive force was varied by adjusting electrical current pair Helmholtz coils. minimum bubbling velocities obtained for various intensities, enabling determination boundary between A behaviour. characteristic forces at B/A determined establishing relationship It shown that occurred fluid drag ratio about 2.5 three types used. Analysis shows these values are comparable with those fine powders.
