摘要: Control of a water/wastewater treatment system is effected by sensing the oxidation reduction potential (ORP) at various parts and using neuro-adaptive process control techniques to make adjustments when necessary based on ORP values. Internal nitrate recycling, sludge return, organic substrate addition and/or aeration can be adjusted achieve desired environmental conditions. In event that phosphorus removal necessary, used assure proper detention time needed for biological uptake.
