摘要: Boron (B) can easily leach into the soil when added in form of a soluble fertilizer such as borax or boric acid (H3BO3); however, large quantities B cause toxicity plants. The use slow release source layered double hydroxides intercalated with borate may minimize leaching/toxicity B. objectives this study are to evaluate availability and leaching from magnesium–aluminium anions (Mg2Al-B-LDH) H3BO3 sandy soil, bioavailability these two sources consecutive cultivations sunflower. Mg2Al-B-LDH at rates (10 20 mg dm−3 B) were incubated for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 40 days. After incubation, was evaluated using hot-water extraction method. For study, incorporated top 0.5 cm 15, 20, 25 30 days before water volume equivalent total soil-pore space. Sunflower plants cultivated seasons greenhouse six (0, 0.5, 3 5 dm−3) factorial 2 × 6, four replicates. Plants received single application sowing first cultivation. had greater than regardless applied rate time incubation. by resulted significant reduction leached compared H3BO3. There quadratic linear response sunflower aboveground biomass accumulation increasing Mg2Al-B-LDH, respectively, second cultivation only. A boron plant toxicity, while promoted throughout period.
