摘要: Disaster planning is an arduous task. Perhaps no form of disaster more difficult to prepare for than one resulting from the intentional, covert release a biological pathogen or toxin. The complexities response operations and perils inadequate preparation cannot be overemphasized. Even with detailed planning, deviations anticipated emergency plans are likely occur. Several federal programs have been initiated assist communities in enhancing their preparedness events involving other agents mass destruction. Many these, such as Metropolitan Medical Response Systems (MMRS) Program [37,38], will discussed elsewhere. Community enhanced by: 1. Implementing real-time public health disease surveillance program linking local healthcare, care, EMS, CDC, law enforcement, FBI 2. Improved regional patient healthcare capacity status management 3. Development affordable, accurate agent detection systems 4. Incorporation standardized education training curricula (appropriate audience) on terrorism into 5. Expansion state system development 6.
