摘要: Abstract Mercury (Hg) is a toxic trace element which emitted mostly in gas phase during coal combustion, although some Hg compounds may be retained the fly ashes depending on characteristics of and process conditions. To improve retention good knowledge capture mechanism species present essential. The temperature programmed decomposition technique was chosen to identify obtained from two Pulverized Coal Combustion (PCC) plants Fluidized Bed (FBC) plant. were then used as sorbents simulated flue combustion gasification. found ash FBC plant after elemental mercury mainly HgCl 2 HgSO 4 . PCC 0 formed gasification atmosphere HgS for all three ashes. only compound identified chloride
