摘要: Background:Heat stress, as one of the most common occupational health problems, can impair operators' cognitive processes. The aim this study was to evaluate impact thermal stress on function among workers in a hot industry. Methods: In cross-sectional conducted Malibel Saipa Company 2013, were assigned into two groups: group exposed heat (n=35), working casting unit and other machining (n=35) with normal air conditioning. Wet Bulb Globe Temperature measured at three heights ankle, abdomen, head. order evaluate effects attention reaction time, Stroop tests 1, 2, 3 before starting work during work. Results: A significant positive correlation observed between WBGT test duration (P=0.01) time (P=0.047), between number errors 3, (P= 0.001). Moreover, showed higher score for both duration case group. Conclusion: Results present study, real environment, confirmed impairment functions, including selective attention under conditions.
