摘要: The NASA Langley Research Center, in cooper ation with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, parti cipated a preliminary design study of Entry, D escent and Landing phase for Mars Smart Lander Project. This concept uti lizes advances Guidance, Navigation Control technology to significantly reduce u ncertainty vehicle landed locatio n on surface. A candidate entry co ntroller based Reaction System controller Apollo Lunar Excu rsion Module digital autopilot is proposed use attitude control. slight modification phas e plane used jet -firing chattering while maintaining good control response Martian probe application. pe rformance demonstrated six -degree -of -freedom simulation represent ative aerodynamics.
