摘要: To date, research has shown the importance of omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsat- urated fatty acids, better known as PUFAs, because their benefits for human health at molecular cellular levels. However, there are factors that determine a low intake these PUFAs , main source omegas is found in seafood some seeds; products not always part diet. Therefore, new alternatives have been sought past years, like production supplements foods fortified with could ensure an adequate omega organism. A practical, safe, sustainable, economically viable alternative use microalgae cultures to produce omegas. It worth mentioning being widely studied lipids, applications area biofuels. also important point out microal- gae essential marine phytoplankton consequently primary links food chain. In this sense, represent mol- lusks, crustaceans, fish, which, turn, people’s diet, making them direct PUFAs. This places promising production, instead using fish oil, which more expensive sometimes inaccessible people.
