摘要: Pelvic pain is a common but clinically challenging problem seen among adolescents. Dysmenorrhea and endometriosis are frequent gynecologic causes of pelvic pain; however, gastrointestinal, urologic, musculokeletal conditions can mimic origin. Initial therapy aimed at treating the underlying condition. Nonsteroidal medications, antidepres-sants anticonvulsants sometimes used in treatment pain. Patients who continue to experience may benefi t from multidiscipli-nary approach consisting medication trials, cognitive-behavioral therapy, physical complementary alternative therapies.
