摘要: Picky eating behavior is a common complaint among parents. Children labeled as "picky eaters" usually dem- onstrate behaviors of highly selective intake, by avoiding certain foods or limited menu. The possibility for short- long-term consequences result picky exists. A cross-sectional survey study was performed on 1101 children from 3 to 6 years in seven schools Madrid, Spain. eaters (PE) were defined whose average consumption <65% the recommended daily intake 4 food groups. This designed analyze nutrient intakes and determine possible effects eat- ing attention. Using definition, 18.4% sample classified PE. No differences ob- served between two groups attention measurement when analyzed whole. However, age chil- dren increased 49 months on, percentage PE with negative score until 50% oldest group. group had lower energy macronutrient levels, but managed meet dietary recommendations most micronutrients. Additionally, could be characterized specific compared healthy eater children.
