摘要: A forgotten, largely invisible minority in twentieth-century society is the gay adolescent. This condition changing fairly rapidly, primarily urban and collegiate areas, as increasing numbers of youth are claiming a sexual identity other than heterosexual one traditionally assumed desired by its agents. These lesbian adolescents must, however, confront hostile audience which disbelieves that can be homosexual during adolescence. The premise this chapter psychosocial stresses result from denial may have profound medical consequences current reality AIDS epidemic.
