Chronic myelocytic leukemia: eosinophils involved in the malignant clone.

摘要: Chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML) is a clonal disorder involving neutrophil, monocyte, erythrocyte, and platelet precursors. In order to determine if the eosinophils are also involved in leukemic clone, we purified from woman heterozygous for common electrophoretic variants of G6PD gene. Only type B enzyme was demonstrable eosinophils, neutrophils, red cells, but both A enzymes were found fibroblasts. The data provide evidence that eosinophil malignant clone.
