摘要: In 35 patients 37 trabeculectomies (TE) were performed using mitomycin as a fibrosisinhibitor. Mitomycin (0.5 mg/ml) was applied to the sciera (under scleral flap) and conjunctiva in area of projected TE during 5 minutes small sponge. The indications for operation were: visual field progression 15 eyes, too high IOP 13 eyes severe defects (central island and/or centro coecal defects) 9 eyes. Six had Normal Pressure Glaucoma, 17 Primary Open Angle Glaucoma 12 other forms glaucoma. There 22 first TE's re-operations. flap sutured with 810/0 nylon sutures. system large number sutures subsequent suturelysis our routine management reducing complications after TE.
