摘要: background Laser skin resurfacing is a very promising new treatment for solar elastosis and acne scars. The Ultrapulse carbon dioxide (CO2) laser the Silk Touch flashscanner allow precise depth control char-free ablation. Earlier studies have been done mainly on Caucasian types I II, but little data were available pigmented skin. objective purpose of this study to assess efficacy safety in III IV. methods Thirty Asian Hispanic patients treated facial rhytides All instructed use tretinoin cream 0.05%, hydroquinone 5%, desonide 0.1% nightly 2–4 weeks prior treatment. 5000C CO2 with Truespot 3-mm collimated handpiece at setting 250–450 mJ per pulse, or Silk-Touch 5–7 W, 0.2-second pulse duration, 4-mm (M) spot size, was used. Patients evaluated clinically, global response assessed by both clinicians patients. results scars improved 25–50% all after one most common side effects persistent erythema that resolved average 6 weeks. Hyperpigmentation occurred, reduced regular tretinoin, hydroquinone, pre- postoperatively along broad spectrum sunscreen treatments. conclusion can be used treat phototypes IV. When proper postoperative management implemented, risk dyspigmentation reduced.
