摘要: We present a novel class of embroidered textile radio frequency (RF) circuit and antennas based on electrically conductive metal-polymer fibers (E-fibers) to realize wearable RF electronics woven daily garments. The E-fibers are composed high strength flexible polymer core covered with metallic coating. These exhibit very low electrical loss excellent mechanical conformalty flexibility. Computerized embroidery machinery double layer stitching were employed achieve conductivity precise fabrication the e-fiber textiles onto regular clothing. Using this process, prototypes antenna fabricated tested. Their characteristics measured in off-body (freestanding) on-body configurations. obtained measurement data demonstrated that exhibited performances comparable conventional copper antennas. This is addition their Importantly, can be inconspicuously clothing, without affecting comfort, fashionality, washability. Those provided solutions future functionalized fashionable garments for rate wireless communications health monitoring.
