摘要: Abstract A simple but highly accurate approximation to the form and speed of a limiting Stokes wave in deep water was recently given by Rainey Longuet-Higgins [R.C.T. Rainey, M.S. Longuet-Higgins, close one-term highest on water, Ocean Eng. 33 (2006) 2012–2024]. An expression for corresponding velocity field interior fluid also suggested. Here this is examined numerically it shown that there no singularity interior, very weak at crest.
