摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the column design selection. In high-performance 1iquid chromatography (HPLC), choice and construction of itself in particular fittings might be decisive importance for preparing successfully high-efficiency separation columns. Apart from resistance to high pressures chemical action eluent, much attention has paid minimizing external peak broadening caused by terminators connection tubes. Before discussing suitability different tubes that are available, it is worthwhile summarizing packing procedures have been applied as these usually restrict tube material practice.
