摘要: Among all cancers, the incidence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is quite high in endemic regions. NPC a head and neck cancer with poor survival rate, rare throughout most world but common certain geographic areas, like southern Asia some regions North East India (Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram). A clear understanding its etiology still lacking, widely suspected to be result both genetic susceptibility exposure environmental factors or Epstein-Barr virus infection. Diagnosis early stages needs index clinical acumen, and, although cross-sectional imaging investigations show tumor precision, confirmation dependent on histology. This article reviews related research reports histopathological classifications worldwide that have been published within past 20 years. Genome-wide association studies suggested there might disease mechanisms between NPC. Personalized management rules, quality assessment life patients, an essential recurrence could directed toward into recurrent Hence, this literature would offer otolaryngologists deeper insight etiological aspects
