摘要: Abstract We have measured the displacement thermal noise of a mechanical cantilever, made phosphor bronze, using laser interferometer. The spectrum agrees well with an estimation based on fluctuation–dissipation theorem mechanical-admittance measurement. frequency range where we could measure was from 50 to 500 Hz; this is important for characterization interferometric gravitational wave detectors.
