摘要: Abstract During the past 30 years, there have been huge breakthroughs in HIV research, most important of which development antiretroviral drugs (ARVs). However, ability to rapidly mutate and replicate has given rise drug resistance that threatens reverse much progress accomplished therapy. New research shown ARVs can even be used as preventive tools if administered vulnerable persons tablets or vaginal microbicides advance possible exposure. Furthermore, successful treatment infected individuals render HIV-positive virtually non-infectious many cases because amount virus blood, tissues, genital fluids is usually greatly reduced. This led a significant diminution numbers both infants who acquire from their mothers well sexual partners infected, treated persons. The problem likely occur greatest extent some developing countries where lower quality continue employed. It ironic such are those new transmission often highest.
