摘要: Abstract The sliding of silicon nitride matrix–silicon carbide whisker composites against bearing steel has been investigated, and it was observed that the wear ceramic specimens decreased with increasing amount incorporated whiskers. In hot-pressed based ceramics, appearance anisotropy in mechanical properties generally observed. Such an also found tribological those ceramics. A series investigations on ceramics pure iron carried out, as result composite did not always show better resistance than monolithic ones. compatibility must be considered first priority when countermaterial is selected. this chapter, discussion viewpoint adhesive-wear mechanism special emphasis materials
